Interstellar
One of my favorite posters from university, created as an Illustrator experiment to push how vectors could capture detail.
The main shot in the poster is from one of the last scenes of the movie, which sees Dr. Brand stuck alone in the universe isolated, but hopeful. That scene distills the movie’s central themes: hope, love and survival. Placed on the cover without context, viewers will understand the central concept, humanities reach into space for survival. Only after experiencing the film do viewers grasp the true weight of that stare.
